Pours & Provisions on the Panhandle

Gather at the Gibson Inn for a tasting tour of the Gulf Coast’s freshest flavors. A lively neighborhood vibe sets the stage for elevated coastal cuisine and hand-crafted cocktails in the Franklin Café and Parlor Bar. From Gulf shrimp and Bay scallops to local oysters served on the half shell, our menus take their cues from the region’s rich history — topped off with an ale or IPA from Forgotten Coast Brewing Co.

Franklin Café

Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily, the Franklin Café is Apalachicola’s unofficial living room—a place where locals gather for good food and strong libations and visitors join in like old friends. Our elevated, seasonal menu highlights the best of the Gulf Coast’s fresh flavors and incredible seafood, while Weekend Brunch featuring bottomless mimosas is an Apalach-essential way to kick off Saturdays and Sundays. Like the food, the name is a tribute to our rich history—the Gibson’s original restaurant was called the Franklin Café when it was first opened in 1907.

A can’t-miss destination among residents and visitors alike, the Parlor Bar has served as Apalachicola’s preferred watering hole since its opening in 1907. Step back in time and experience Florida as it once was, enjoy a craft cocktail, locally brewed beer or artisanal wine in the vibrant Parlor Bar.
